What additional advice can you give me?
With Zotrim we can help you to manage how much you eat, but what you choose to eat and how you prepare it is still very important. You need to take control of your calorie intake and ensure you are not eating too much fat in your diet. To help you make the right food choices, try using the following tips:
- Substitute high fat foods, such as full milk, cream, butter, cheese, fried food, crisps and nuts for their low fat alternatives: skimmed milk, low fat spreads and cheese, pastas, boiled potatoes and cereals.
- Grill and boil rather than fry and roast.
- Read labels on all pre-prepared foods. If it is high in fat, look for a low fat option.
- Begin your day with a good breakfast and try not to miss meals.
- Remember: alcoholic drinks contain calories so monitor your consumption.
What about exercise?
Exercise is an important part of any weight loss programme, so it vital that you pick one that is appropriate to your age, weight and state of health. By making even the simplest of adjustments to your daily lifestyle you can increase your energy consumption and burn more fat. Try taking the stairs instead of a lift; leave your car at home and walk to the shops or incorporate a 30 minute walk into your lunch break.
More importantly try to make time in your day to do extra physical activity such as swimming or riding a bike. However you do not have to do exercise to see results with Zotrim.Back to top
